Journal of the Canadian Health Libraries Association

JCHLA, an open access journal, is a forum for the provision of increased communication among health libraries and health sciences librarians in Canada. See the JCHLA page for more information.

Back issues of the Journal's predecessor, Bibliotheca Medica Canadiana (BMC) are available from the Office. The tables of contents for most issues of BMC are available online. Out-of-print issues will not be reprinted in order to fill bulk orders. Permission to photocopy out-of-print issues must be obtained by contacting the President, either directly or via the Association Office. Promotional items such as posters, brochures, bookmarks, and table tops are also available.

CHLA/ABSC Directory and Membership List

The CHLA/ABSC Membership Directory is searchable and updated regularly and is available to members on the Members-Only section of the web site.

The Association makes the list available in the form of mailing label sets on pressure sensitive labels. Label sets are priced at $100.00 to members and $215.00 to non-members, plus $10.00 for delivery by mail, or $25.00 for courier. Requests for labels may be sent to the CHLA/ABSC President or to the Association Office. Requests must be accompanied by a detailed explanation as to the nature of the mailing. The CHLA/ABSC Directory may not be copied or stored electronically in order to create membership lists and/or mailing label sets.

Monographs and Reports

CHLA/ABSC publishes and distributes monographs and reports of interest to the member community. Publications may be ordered through the Association Office. (See below for a list of current titles).

All items distributed through the Office must be prepaid in Canadian funds.
